hi all,

okay guys.
time i get started on the terrible task of planning a chalet.
but its for the better good right.

heres it is.

Date of chalet: between 2-11 of JANUARY 2010
but since 2 and 3 is a weekend and so is 9 and 10
so MOST likely( i mean definitely) its between 4-8 JANUARY 2010

the reason it is so late/early is because its off peak
which means not school holidays
and chalets are cheap during this time.
hence we should make use of our extended holiday to have more fun
at lower cost.

its either we pay more and have less space
or we pay less and have more space.

Venue of chalet: ARANDA COUNTRY CLUB
its at pasir ris too.

i recommend you guys go check it out
it beats all the other chalet venues we had.
cos 2 queen sized beds and 4 single sized beds(i think) and 1 sofa can sleep alot of ppl
not forgetting two toilets.
and a pantry
and a dining table
WOW!

anyway if you ppl are too lazy to check the link
here's de price breakdown

Suite(yes its suite not room-.-) Rates: $200sgd per night
Lets assume 20 ppl going : $20sgd per head for 3D2N
and im sure theres more than 20 ppl going
right?
definitely more.

on the other chalets we normally stay
price for 3D2N in downtown east costa sands: $180
i shant do the math

BUT BUT BUT but

do remember that aranda's "Each Executive Suite occupies approximately 1,550 sq feet of luxurious accommodation and equivalent to a standard executive flat, available for your enjoyment."
and the costa sands one is only like de size of aranda's bathrooms added together.
one is bigger than my house(almost)
and the other is smaller den my room.
not forgetting too that de bigger space will mean more room for play, rest, fun.
the noise made by 1 person will not affect everyone.
and the TV is much bigger.
the comfort of sleep is so much better
and more importantly
we can have a mahjong table put in aranda.
not like in costa sands theres hardly space.

and i have to reiterate,
"Every Executive Suite is fitted with two bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a large living room, balcony and a pantry."

srsly aren't we all sick of getting a room that is not even more than 300 sq ft and live in it for 3D2N?

so thats de best case scenario.
we book a aranda chalet.
and i will appreciate everybody's cooperation in making this a success.

MORE INFORMATION AND PLANNING
so i have gave you guys the plan for out chalet already
and we just have to iron out certain details.
how many ppl going
dates and stuff.
and knowing that now everyone will check their email,
we(me and junbin and whoever) will be smsing or msning everyone to inform you guys about this.
hopefully you ppl will cooperate
and make this as painless as possible.
and can someone help me put this up on the class blog or what thanks:D

finally,
i think that we as a class, 2K
should come together this holiday
hopefully all 34 of us,
meet up
catch up with one another
share with one another what we got into the past two years
so we not forget the first two years of our secondary education
and the people we spent them with.
so lets just all turn up for this chalet
which may as well be the last

Venue: Downtown East (no longer Aranda, sorry sorry! :( ), 2-storeys bungalow (same as prev one)
Date: 8th - 10th June (Monday - Tuesday)
BBQ Night: 2nd night, 9th June :)

chalet dates! (ehh these dates nearer to school reopen date, so probably dont have activities.. but if i'm not wrong, many people may have to go back to school on 26. AS ALWAYS)

Okay, it is officially over 12 midnight according to lx and 26/10/07 is over at the point i am typing this post. So 2kzers have physically extinct from this point on, but i am sure all of us will still remember it spiritually(LOL).

I had lots of things to say lar, but then say in front of you all later cry, and i am not emo okay? =)

I and lixuan have officially stepped down as your class chairpersons already and i hoped all of you had benefited from us one way or another in the midst of the 2 yrs we spent together. We had done our part, and from now onwards, you all will be alone with your new friends. I really hope that all of you will be independent and work smartly in the next few yrs.

Please do not apologise for all the wrong things that you all have done in the past two yrs. Because it is precisely due to the wrong things that led to more bonding in the class that really serves as good memories thinking about it now. So instead i would like to thank the entire class for the "wrong things" you all have done(although it sounds wrong.)

We as chairpersons of this class would really be the ones that really benefited compared to other chairpersons because it is only this class that brings out challengers everyday for us to deal with, and we had matured a lot thanks to all of you 2 kzers.

So now, our horror tale have came to a happy ending and is time to choose a new book to read. Throughout the two yrs, many of you have thought coming to school was a torture and going to classes are boring. But now that the last day is over, many of you hopes and want to go through everything one more time. Though our time as a class is over, but the time for you all is not over(sounds wrong again). All that happens in 2kzers will remain as memories for us to remember. Graduation does not mean the start nor the ending. It just means the ending of the start.

So i am hoping all of you will study hard, and i cannot gurantee you that you will get into a class you like or with people you like, but just do all the best in everything you do regardless of anything. When life is too stressful, you can always find me on msn or hp or better still, personally. I am not your class chairperson anymore, but still your friend and schoolmate, so i will help out anyone who is in need of my help.

Everyone, keep in touch and see you all next at the class chalet? or maybe at the start of the new year. =)

Beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. You need to remember that when you find yourself at the beginning.

HELLO 2K! :D
today was our last official day together in school. ):
i'm gonna miss you all! :D

it's been 2 great years with our ups & downs.
we had alot of khaos, but we also had our happy moments.
it was really nice seeing how our class bonded more and more each day. although the class was not 100% united in the end (you know, not everyone is in the kzers' spirits. :X), but at least till the end we remained as a class and we are still standing STRONG. ;D

okay my sentences are bad but i hope you get it he he he.

I'm really happy to be part of this class & I LOVE 2K. :D :D :D :D :D
although this class might not seem like the best to other classes, but to us, IT IS AND IT WILL BE FOREVERRRRRRRR! (grins)

&of course we have to thank our chairpersons, ALVIN & LI XUAN!! For protecting & teaching this class! :)

i have to admit this class changed my mindset about things. &it definitely let me be part of a big group. this has been my best class ever & the most bonded one i've ever been in. it might sound like i'm exaggerating but i'm not. in primary school there's two distinct groups between girls & boys. but in this class there isn't too much a gap. although sometimes there tends to be some distance between the girls & the boys but still in the end we're still close in our heart. RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT?? :P

Most probably on a : Mon to Wed OR Wed to Fri
Price of chalet alone: $208 ( nt including food. so the price tt everyone should pay will be about $20)

Pls Give me the days where u all are free on during the june holiday asap.
Before 1st week of April is possible.
The dates will at least crush with one cca day
as it is impossible to book one where it doesn't crash.

date would be 11nov. each and everyone of u who are going chalet,
bring de $20 to sch. u would be doing gardening fm 8.30 to 10.30 am.
wear pe tee. blue skirt for gals and white shorts for boys

date: 14, 15, 16 november 2006
cost: each person pays amt of $20 (only include chalet and bbq fees)

escape theme park: $16.80 (adults), $8.30(chidren), $40 (2 adults 2 children)
wild wild wet: $12.90 (adults), $8.80 (children), use funky card

mm, if u all wan to go escape theme park or wild wild wet, u hav to bring de money urself.
yeah, most lykly will go escape bahx...
